## Description

Namibia National Reinsurance Corporation is the leading reinsurance company in Namibia, established by an Act of Parliament in 1998 to address the lack of reinsurance capacity in the local insurance industry. Their mission is to provide professional and quality reinsurance services to their clients and maximize shareholder returns. With a vision to be the preferred reinsurance company, NamibRe is committed to fostering long-term investment, adapting to change, developing innovative solutions, delivering excellence, and upholding integrity.

NamibRe offers reinsurance services for both life and non-life insurance businesses, reducing the need for local insurance companies to buy reinsurance from abroad. This has the potential to retain capital within Namibia and contribute to the growth and sustainability of the local insurance industry. In addition to their core business, NamibRe is dedicated to corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and maintaining accountability to stakeholders.
