About

Description

The Nampa Idaho Fire Department, also known as the Nampa Fire Protection District (NFPD), is an esteemed organization dedicated to serving the community with prompt, professional, and safe service. The district covers an area of approximately 100 square miles and serves around 125,000 citizens. Their services extend to a diverse range of zones, including urban, suburban, industrial, and rural areas.

With a team of 110 personnel and 5 fire stations, the NFPD is well-equipped to handle various emergencies such as medical emergencies, structure fires, vehicle extrication, wildland fires, hazardous material incidents, and technical rescue emergencies. The district places great importance on training, ensuring that all line personnel are trained to operate in all areas, and many members hold advanced certifications in different emergency response disciplines. Additionally, they collaborate with the Treasure Valley Emergency Medical Services System (TVEMSS) to provide high-quality advanced life support medical care.

The Nampa Fire Protection District takes immense pride in its history, and its dedicated firefighters maintain a tradition of service and sacrifice. To preserve this rich history, Nampa Fire Station #1 hosts a museum displaying relics and artifacts from the past. The district has also been documented in several published works that shed light on its story.

Led by Fire Chief Carpenter, the Nampa Fire Protection District strives for excellence, always prioritizing teamwork, integrity, compassion, professionalism, and safety
