## Description

Nampa Midwifery is an independently owned midwifery practice and birth center based in Nampa, Idaho, operated by certified professional and licensed midwife Rebecca Holmstead. Serving families across southwestern Idaho, including Nampa, Boise, Meridian, Kuna, and nearby communities, the practice offers home birth and birth center options for maternity care.

Its services include prenatal care and education, labor and birth care, and postpartum appointments. The family-centered approach emphasizes holistic health, natural remedies, informed choice, and preparation for birth. Midwives provide guidance and resources to help families make decisions about their care, with respect for each person’s preferences and autonomy. The practice follows the Midwifery Model of Care, seeking to minimize technological interventions while involving medical care when necessary or requested. Nampa Midwifery also collaborates with medical peers to support families when additional care is needed.

The practice highlights trauma-sensitive care, confidentiality, and the physical and emotional well-being of parents and babies. Its mission is to support families through the personal experience of pregnancy and birth with trust, care, and respect.
