## Description

Nanaimo Foundation is the community foundation serving Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Cedar, Gabriola Island, and Lantzville. Since 1982, we have been dedicated to making a meaningful and lasting impact on our community. By connecting visionary donors with causes that truly matter, we are able to invest in people and projects that strengthen our communities for the long-term. As a registered Canadian charity, we manage charitable gifts from generous donors who enable us to create permanent, income-earning funds. These funds are then distributed in the areas our donors wish to support, within the boundaries of School District 68. At Nanaimo Foundation, we are passionate about community. We take a broad approach to our work, funding a wide range of projects in areas such as arts and culture, education, children and youth, environment, animal welfare, community health, and social development. We collaborate with other charities and non-profits to tackle larger community issues. Join us in building a vibrant, healthy, and resilient community. Your gift to Nanaimo Foundation makes a difference now and for generations to come.
