## Description

North American Nanohertz Observatory for Gravitational Waves (NANOGrav) is an international collaboration at the forefront of studying the Universe and gravitational waves. Utilizing a groundbreaking application of radio astronomy, NANOGrav focuses on exploring the low-frequency gravitational wave universe through radio pulsar timing. Their aim is to detect and characterize low-frequency gravitational waves, providing invaluable insights into the nature of the cosmos. At the heart of their research is the 100-meter Green Bank Telescope, the world's largest fully steerable telescope and a core instrument for their pulsar timing array experiment. Through their observations, they study a wide range of topics, including multimessenger astrophysics, low-frequency gravitational waves, galaxies and supermassive black holes, pulsars as cosmic clocks, and radio astronomy. As an international collaboration, NANOGrav invites individuals to join their mission, emphasizing the importance of diversity in their team. With a commitment to advancing our understanding of the Universe, NANOGrav offers a wealth of resources, publications, and events for scientists, students, and researchers alike. Stay connected with their latest discoveries and advancements by subscribing to their email updates.
