## Description

NanoInfect Jena is a research group based at University Hospital Jena in Germany, focused on understanding and combating life-threatening infections. Its work centers on sepsis, a dangerous condition in which the body’s response to infection can lead to organ failure. The team investigates how the liver influences immune responses and helps manage infections throughout the body, using advanced molecular tools and comprehensive biological analyses to study these processes.
