## Description

Nanopaprika, also known as The International NanoScience Community, is an online community for people interested in nanoscience and nanotechnology. Founded in 2007 by Hungarian chemistry PhD student Dr. András Paszternák, it was created to offer a more personal alternative to other online nano networks. The community is open to everyone, from students and postdoctoral researchers to professors, and welcomes members from around the world.

The website brings members together through profiles, discussion forums, specialist groups and community updates. It shares nanotechnology news and information about research, publications, academic opportunities and partner events. Members can submit NanoNews and NanoEvents, join conversations, connect with other researchers and participate in online initiatives such as the NANOPOSTER virtual poster conference. The site also features groups focused on topics and communities including nanomedicine, NanoIndia and PhD students. Nanopaprika invites potential partners to get in touch and supports the exchange of scientific ideas and opportunities across the international nanoscience community.
