## Description

Nuneaton & North Warwickshire Family History Society is a friendly society supporting people researching family history across North Warwickshire. Its website welcomes members and visitors, offering guidance for beginners as well as resources for more experienced researchers. Visitors can explore free materials, including searchable parish records, a municipal cemeteries list, information about civil registration and a timeline, and practical tools such as a pedigree chart and research log. The society also provides guidance on buying birth, marriage and death certificates, finding probate calendars and wills, and getting started with family history. Its developing Medieval Soldiers’ Names Database is being updated, and Methodist baptism records from Atherstone are being prepared for publication as a free searchable resource. Members can access additional online content, including a forum. The society shares website updates and a programme of meetings and events, and operates an online shop. Through its records, information and community activities, it helps people investigate family connections and local history in the Nuneaton and North Warwickshire area.
