## Description

Meals on Wheels Narrabri is a registered charity serving people in Narrabri, New South Wales, and has provided meals to the local community for more than 50 years. The organisation helps people live independently at home by preparing meals tailored to individual tastes and dietary needs. Its service is particularly focused on older people and those who are socially isolated or infirm.

Beyond meal delivery, volunteers provide friendly visits and wellness checks, offering companionship and checking that clients are doing well. The organisation also aims to offer social, emotional or practical support and connect people with relevant support providers when needed. Volunteers can help with home visits, client support or behind-the-scenes tasks, with contributions of as little as two hours a week welcomed.

Narrabri Meal on Wheels Inc is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient, and donations are tax-deductible. The organisation is supported by the Australian Government and invites community members to order meals, volunteer or donate. It is based at 65 Maitland Street, Narrabri.
