## Description

The National Autistic Society (NAS) stands as the UK's leading charity dedicated to supporting autistic individuals and their families since its establishment in 1962. Our mission is to create a more inclusive society, advocating for the rights, services, and opportunities essential for enhancing the lives of autistic people.

Through a variety of services, including diagnostic assessments, training, and accreditation, we empower individuals with autism, their families, and professionals. We offer a comprehensive Autism Services Directory and specialized programs catering to both adults and children's education, including Cullum Centres and adult residential services.

The NAS also fosters community engagement through support groups, online forums, and events like the annual Professionals' Conference and Spectrum Colour Walk, which promote awareness and understanding. We provide invaluable resources covering various topics, from mental health to sensory differences, helping navigate the complex landscape of autism. Join us in our effort to transform lives and build a society that embraces neurodiversity.
