## Description

NAŠE SLNKO is a Slovak nonprofit civic association founded by parents of a child with autism. It aims to make life easier for children with autism and their families through practical support, education and public awareness. Drawing on their own experience, the founders help families find appropriate services, understand how to apply for financial support and manage the administrative challenges of care.

The organization arranges shared activities that help families better understand the experiences of a person with autism and strengthen relationships. It also plans lectures, seminars and courses for children, parents and families to exchange knowledge and experience. NAŠE SLNKO promotes dialogue with government bodies to address gaps in specialized preschool and school provision, and works to improve understanding of autism in society.

Its projects include digital-skills support for families, software and applications for children with autism, emotion-recognition initiatives and the AuKid app. The organization also lists an integration centre and the Vlčia svorka programme among its projects.
