## Description

Nathan Payne is a San Francisco-based product manager focused on AI coding agents and platform products. His career spans a decade in streaming technology, beginning at MLB.com and BAMTECH before joining Disney through its 2017 acquisition. He spent five years leading the Native Client Platform behind Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN across devices including game consoles, streaming boxes, and smart TVs.

Today, Payne builds and operates products using Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. He also created Mergepath, a code-review and enforcement system designed to help AI agents follow required checks before changes are merged. His selected projects explore developer tools, streaming infrastructure, finance, consumer experiences, and AI-assisted workflows. They include a multiplayer bingo game, a Broadway deal model, a device registry, and shared billing software.

Payne writes about product decisions, evidence, tradeoffs, and the realities of building with AI. He is open to senior product and platform roles, particularly in streaming infrastructure, developer tools, and AI-enabled workflows.
