## Description

The National Bankers Association (NBA), founded in 1927 as the Negro Bankers Association, continues to champion the cause of minority-owned and -operated banks in the United States. Committed to closing the racial wealth gap, the NBA offers its members unparalleled networking opportunities and federal advocacy to amplify their voices in national conversations. Our membership is composed of banks owned and operated by Black, Hispanic, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, and women entrepreneurs, all focused on serving the underserved low- and moderate-income communities. By supporting minority banks, we drive inclusive growth in the financial services industry and uplift the very communities they serve. With policies tailored exclusively to the needs of minority banks, the NBA addresses their priorities and fosters their growth through education, events, and specialized services. Through partnerships with fellow institutions, problem-solving is enhanced, and capital can be pooled to invest in innovation. Join us in disrupting inequality and creating change in the financial landscape.
