## Description

National CMV Foundation is a brand dedicated to preventing pregnancy loss, childhood death, and disability caused by congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV). They strive to educate others about prevention measures against CMV infection and identify at-risk children through newborn screening. With a mission to eliminate congenital CMV, they offer various programs, including funding for awareness and research awards focused on CMV education, diagnosis, screening, treatment, and vaccine development. The foundation also advocates for CMV legislation in collaboration with CMV families, professionals, and politicians. They support young investigators and influence research priorities in CMV prevention, treatment, and intervention. The passion and dedication of their board members and founders shape the organization and community. Generous donations, partnerships, and volunteer support allow for the growth of their programs, promoting CMV awareness and prevention education for women of childbearing age. Stay updated by following them on social media and consider donating to this qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
