## Description

The National Hockey Academy (NHA) is a hockey organisation founded in the Midlands to create opportunities for the next generation of players. Established in 2018 by Ricky Saund, the academy was built around a commitment to giving young people access to high-quality coaching and the chance to learn from international coaches. Its work focuses on creating opportunities, celebrating diversity and supporting junior hockey development.

NHA runs hockey training camps and events across the country, bringing together professional players, experienced coaches and international talent. The organisation’s team includes hockey legends, professional coaches and international players, who contribute their experience to its programmes. Alongside camps and events, NHA offers membership and provides ways for players and families to connect with its team and activities.

By combining professional coaching with access to international expertise, the academy aims to encourage young hockey players and help them develop their skills. NHA also shares updates through its newsboard and provides contact information for enquiries about its programmes and opportunities.
