## Description

The National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards celebrate individuals and organisations delivering excellent care and support to people with learning disabilities and autism. The awards recognise contributions across the care sector, including support for children and older people, assistance in people’s own homes, residential care and voluntary services. Honourees may include frontline care workers and managers, as well as people making a difference through training, innovation and other work.

The programme invites nominations to acknowledge dedication, raise the profile of the care sector and showcase high-quality support. Individuals and organisations can nominate colleagues or employees, with shortlisted nominees invited to interview before an independent panel of judges. The awards culminate in a gala event, where guests can attend and book tables, offering an opportunity to celebrate achievements and connect with others in the sector. The organisation also provides award categories, event information, galleries and news about finalists and winners. In addition to the national awards, it features a Northern Ireland awards programme, recognising excellence in learning disability and autism support there.
