# National Parkinsons Alliance - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `nationalparkinsonsalliance.org.au` ## Description The National Parkinson’s Alliance (NPA) is an Australian collaboration of stakeholders and leaders in the Parkinson’s community. It brings together people and organisations to shape policies, strategies and initiatives intended to improve the lives of Australians affected by Parkinson’s disease. The Australian Federal Government has chosen the NPA to develop and implement the country’s first National Parkinson’s Action Plan (NPAP). The plan is designed to address unmet needs across the Parkinson’s community and inform government policy and initiatives in health, disability, aged care and research. Its aim is to support fair and equitable access to services and ensure people living with Parkinson’s and their families can benefit from strategic investment in research. The Alliance provides information about the NPAP, including access to download the plan, and offers a contact channel for enquiries.
