## Description

The National Police Dog Foundation is a brand dedicated to supporting and honoring police dogs. Also known as K-9s or K9s, these dogs are specially trained to assist law enforcement officers in their duties. With a history dating back to the Middle Ages, police dogs have become an integral part of law enforcement. The most commonly used breeds for police work are German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois, although other breeds with unique talents are also represented. The National Police Dog Foundation offers various products and services to help K-9 units and their canine officers. They provide active and retired medical care for these hardworking dogs, as well as assistance with K-9 purchasing and training. The foundation also offers heat alarms for K-9 patrol vehicles and supports the memorialization of fallen K-9 heroes. You can support the National Police Dog Foundation through donations, estate planning, or by purchasing items from their K9 Merch Store. Additionally, they offer veterinary services and opportunities for volunteering. By supporting this nonprofit organization, you can make a difference in the lives of police dogs and the officers they serve alongside.
