## Description

The National Resource Directory (NRD) is an online resource hub connecting wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, their families, and caregivers with organizations and services that support them. Its directory helps visitors find information and assistance across a range of topics, while community features connect users with relevant support networks. The NRD also invites individuals and organizations to submit resources that may benefit others, helping keep its listings useful and current.

The site provides access to a Caregiver Resource Directory, which is updated daily and available to view or download, as well as guidance materials such as the Department of Defense Benefit and Compensation Handbook. Visitors can also find key contact information and crisis support numbers, including the Military Crisis Line, Veteran Crisis Line, and National Call Center for Homeless Veterans. Additional site content includes policy information, accessibility guidance, glossaries, and links to related sources. The NRD is an informational directory; it states that links to external sites do not constitute endorsement of their views, services, or products.
