## Description

Safe Place is a national youth outreach and prevention program that provides immediate help and safety to young people under the age of 18 (up to 21 years in some communities). It is a collaborative initiative that designates businesses and organizations as Safe Place locations, ensuring that help is readily available to youth across the country. Safe Place locations include libraries, YMCAs, fire stations, public buses, various businesses, and social service facilities, all of which display the Safe Place sign, a universal symbol of youth safety. With its extensive network, Safe Place serves a large number of youth each year. If you're interested in the program's history, you can explore their timeline of milestones. National Safe Place Network (NSPN) operates the Safe Place program, and it is a registered trademark. Safe Place aims to expand the safety net for youth and offers opportunities for individuals and communities to get involved in creating a safer environment for young people. Visit their website for more information and to connect with them on social media.
