As an Urban Indian Health Project, NAHC is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services and resources for American Indians, Alaska Natives, and residents of the surrounding communities. NAHC offers a wide range of services, including medical, dental, behavioral health, community wellness, and social service programs.

They believe that culture is key to prevention and strive to provide holistic care that addresses the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social service needs of each individual. With over 50 years of experience, NAHC is one of the oldest and largest Urban Indian Health programs in the United States. They employ nearly 300 staff members across seventeen sites in Alameda, San Francisco, and Contra Costa counties.
