## Description

Natural Systems Design (NSD) is a brand that offers river, coastal, and basin science and engineering services. Founded in 2003, NSD is made up of a team of scientists, engineers, and planners who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the world. They strive to promote quality of life for local communities and restore balance to natural systems through landscape-scale restoration of ecosystems and physical processes. NSD's design approach is guided by the belief that clean water and functional natural processes are vital for a healthy aquatic ecosystem. They combine ecology, geomorphology, hydrology, hydraulics, and engineering services to create rivers, streams, and wetlands that not only look great but also function as healthy ecosystems. With an interdisciplinary team of 45 professionals, NSD has the expertise and experience to create buildable and cost-effective designs. They have offices in Seattle, Bellingham, and Port Angeles, Washington. With the recent addition of Coastal Geologic Services, NSD is excited to expand their impact and offer expertise in coastal science, design, and engineering.
