Founded by a qualified chemist, we take a fact-based approach to personal care, ensuring that our products are formulated with a combination of naturally derived ingredients and proven safe synthetics, certified by trusted bodies such as Ecocert or COSMOS. 

Our journey began in 2011 with the Natural Nigerian™ blog, which aimed to fill a gap in providing resources and knowledge about natural hair care specifically tailored to Nigerians. We then expanded our reach by hosting the famous Naturals In The City (NITC) meetup, which has now become a Natural Lifestyle meetup catering to the diverse needs of the natural community. 

Our commitment to local resources is evident in our use of Nigeria's rich ethnobotanical ingredients, including the first-ever incorporation of Red Acalypha and Nigerian-grown herbs. By utilizing these ingredients, we hope to not only celebrate our culture but also support local farmers and processors.
