## Description

Nature-Action Québec (NAQ) is a Quebec-based nonprofit and charitable organization dedicated to protecting and conserving the environment. For more than 35 years, it has helped individuals, businesses, and municipalities adopt better environmental practices. Its team of more than 100 professionals delivers nearly 350 environmental projects each year, working with communities and partners across the region.

NAQ’s expertise includes acquiring and conserving natural areas, restoring habitats, adapting to climate change, and planning sustainable communities. It also supports ecological landscape design, waste management, recycling centres, environmental houses, and eco-districts. Through its projects, the organization helps protect biodiversity, green urban areas, and build community engagement. Examples include conserving the Grand Coteau forest corridor, protecting Red Mill Bog, and managing recycling centres.

NAQ also offers guidance for landowners interested in conservation, volunteer opportunities, and educational resources on topics such as composting, wildlife, and natural habitats. Donations and memberships help support its conservation work and environmental initiatives.
