Nature Seychelles

Nature Seychelles is a renowned environmental conservation organization operating in the Western Indian Ocean, particularly in the Seychelles archipelago. Established in 1998, it is the largest and oldest non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to environmental preservation in the region. Nature Seychelles actively engages in scientific research, management initiatives, educational programs, and training to enhance biodiversity conservation.

As the BirdLife Partner in Seychelles and a member of the World Conservation Union (IUCN) and the Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association (WIOMSA), Nature Seychelles collaborates with various local, national, regional, and international institutions. Notably, the organization manages the famous Cousin Island Special Reserve, one of Seychelles' earliest marine protected areas.
