Nature's Way Montessori School has been educating and inspiring young minds since its establishment in 1982. Founded by Mary and David Smith, the school started as a small preschool with twenty primary students in a church basement. Today, it has grown into a thriving institution with approximately 160 students ranging in ages from eighteen months to 14.

Located on seven picturesque wooded acres in Northeast Knox County, Nature's Way provides an ideal environment for outdoor learning. The school features multiple buildings specially designed to cater to different age groups. From the Toddler and Primary communities to the Upper Elementary and Middle School students, each space is thoughtfully created to foster holistic development.

Under the visionary leadership of Mary, who is both the director and owner of the school, Nature's Way remains deeply committed to Dr. Maria Montessori's educational philosophy. The school constantly evaluates and enhances its programs and curricula to ensure an engaging and challenging learning experience for both students and staff.
