Natur och Miljö, also known as the Finnish Society for Nature and Environment, is a national environmental organization founded in 1970. With over 2300 members and local groups in 20 municipalities, including the Åland Islands, Natur och Miljö focuses on promoting nature's interests in environmental political issues. As an environmental citizens' organization (ECO) and a non-governmental organization (NGO), their activities include campaigning, raising awareness about environmental issues, participating in governmental committees and councils, and influencing public opinion on environmental matters.

Natur och Miljö is particularly dedicated to environmental education, having established the first nature school in Finland in 1986. Today, they have four regional nature schools with outdoor education professionals providing environmental education services to kindergartens and schools. They offer training for teachers in outdoor education and advocate for sustainable development in government policies.

In addition, Natur och Miljö publishes the quarterly magazine Finlands Natur, which covers a wide range of environmental topics. They are currently focusing their efforts on sustainable agriculture and food policies, sustainable forestry, climate action, and the conservation of species. As a democratic, politically independent organization, Natur och Miljö is financed by membership fees, governmental contributions, and grants from private foundations.
