## Description

Naturschutzscheune Reinheimer Teich is a nature information and visitor centre focused on the wetlands and wildlife of the Reinheimer Teich and the surrounding Gersprenz floodplain. It helps visitors discover local habitats, species and seasonal changes through exhibitions, outdoor displays and educational activities. The centre’s indoor exhibitions are open on Sundays and public holidays during the summer season, from the last weekend in March through 3 October. Its outdoor area is accessible year-round and includes an exhibition about the history of the Reinheimer Teich and a learning trail exploring habitats in the Gersprenz floodplain.

The centre also offers a programme of public events, including birdwatching, guided nature excursions and activities for children. Some events can be booked, and the website provides suggested walking routes, species profiles and reports of recent wildlife observations. Visitors can learn about the Naturschutzscheune project, its team and opportunities to get involved or donate. The centre welcomes people interested in nature, conservation and learning more about the area, while sharing updates on local conditions and ways to support its work.
