## Description

Natuurlijk Gemis is a personal funeral and farewell-guidance service based in Winterswijk, supporting families locally and beyond. Led by Luuk Assinck, a funeral and farewell guide, the brand helps people navigate the period before and after a loved one’s death with calm, space and individual attention. Its approach places the wishes of the deceased and the needs of those left behind at the centre, without requiring families to follow fixed conventions.

Support can include practical arrangements, final care, laying out the deceased and shaping a personal farewell. Families can choose a cremation, burial or natural burial, and are encouraged to make choices that feel right for them. Natuurlijk Gemis also offers conversations and guidance before a death, helping people explore wishes and possibilities at their own pace, sometimes through a walk in nature.

Through Emotiekist, Assinck makes personal, handmade coffins and biers. Families may also choose a simple or traditional coffin, or create an Emotiekist together.
