## Description

Nätverkstan is an independent knowledge centre in Gothenburg that supports and develops the cultural sector. It works to encourage critical public discussion, innovation and openness, combining practical services with education, knowledge production and process leadership. Its consultancy and professional development programmes support organisations and people working in culture, while Kulturverkstan offers training for cultural project managers, along with courses and further education.

Nätverkstan also provides bookkeeping and financial services tailored to the cultural sector. Through its work with cultural magazines, it supports subscriptions, visibility and resources, and offers subscription and registry services. Medieverkstan provides studios and digital technology for film and audio production. The organisation also publishes a book series addressing cultural topics, including a guide to cultural policy, and shares updates through a newsletter covering cultural policy and cultural economics.

Based in the Lagerhuset building at Heurlins plats in Gothenburg, Nätverkstan brings together expertise, tools and services designed to strengthen cultural activity. Its offerings span advisory work, education, administration, media production and support for cultural publications.
