## Description

Clube Naval de Leça is a nautical club based at Marina Porto Atlântico in Leça da Palmeira, Portugal. Founded in 1960 by 14 sailing enthusiasts, it was created to make sailing and other water sports accessible to the local community, including people with fewer resources. Today, the club combines recreation and competition with a range of opportunities to experience the sea.

Its sailing courses welcome people of different ages and experience levels, from beginners to those looking to improve their skills. The sailing school offers ongoing development for adults and children, with coaching and training, and includes the Vaurien class. The club also provides diving activities, including visits to the U-1277 submarine and other underwater sites, as well as freediving, a discipline practiced by relatively few clubs in northern Portugal.

Alongside its courses and activities, Clube Naval de Leça shares club news and organizes events such as regattas. Its stated aim is to bring people together through nautical sports and offer a welcoming community for enjoying the sea.
