## Description

Navida Stein is a storyteller, actress, musician, and writer whose creative work spans film, performance, audiobooks, and literary discussion. Through Big Pup Lil Pup Productions, she creates cinematic stories from the perspective of older women, with the stated aim of challenging the invisibility experienced by women over 50. She has made six short films to date, and her films have appeared at festivals around the country.

Stein’s performing work includes acting, singing, and violin. She is a violinist with the Queer Urban Orchestra and has performed with The Chelsea Symphony. Her website also features an acting résumé, headshots, media, and information about her audiobook and music work. As a writer and storyteller, she presents The Willa Cather Salon and shares material connected to her creative projects. The site also highlights her interest in Iyengar yoga and cooking, offering a broader glimpse into her life beyond the stage and screen. Through these varied pursuits, Stein brings together performance, storytelling, and film with a focus on women’s perspectives.
