## Description

The Navy SBIR/STTR Transition Program (Navy STP), now celebrating its 25th year, is a pivotal initiative designed to facilitate the successful transition of SBIR/STTR-funded technologies into military applications and commercial markets. By connecting small businesses with key stakeholders—including warfighters, government acquisition personnel, and industry partners—Navy STP enhances the commercialization prospects for innovative technologies that address the specific needs of the U.S. Navy.

This comprehensive program offers a range of services including business mentoring, one-on-one coaching, marketing strategy development, and promotional activities. It provides an essential platform for small businesses with active Navy-funded Phase II SBIR/STTR awards, which significantly increases their likelihood of transitioning technologies by 68%. Furthermore, the Virtual Transition Marketplace (VTM) showcases mature technologies and promotes networking opportunities at key industry events.

Navy STP not only fosters innovation within the small business community but also strengthens the Navy's operational capabilities by integrating cutting-edge technologies.
