# Navy Site - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `navysite.de` ## Description Navysite.de is the largest European website dedicated to the US Navy. While it is not the official site of the U.S. Navy or the U.S. Department of Defense, it has been providing valuable and informative content since its inception in 1999. Started by two German students, Navysite.de has now grown into an extensive source of information related to the US Navy. The website offers a wealth of resources for Navy enthusiasts, including information on over 1000 ships, more than 10,000 photos, and several video clips. Navysite.de was created using basic tools like Microsoft Windows Notepad and does not rely on WYSIWYG editors or frames. The site utilizes JavaScript, Cascading Style-Sheets, and Dynamic HTML to display information. To fully enjoy the website's features, it is recommended to use a 4th generation browser such as Microsoft's Internet Explorer (versions equal to or greater than 4) or Netscape Navigator. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🗺 Reference Materials ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idPtMeIxpt/w/110/h/27/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1770313301274) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tapestry | #b56178 | accent | | Mine Shaft | #333333 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
