# N Bahn-Club Beider Basel - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `nbcb.ch` ## Description N-Bahn-Club beider Basel (NBCB) is a railway modelling club based in Basel, Switzerland, founded in 1983. Its members share an interest in railways and build, operate and maintain model railway layouts. The club’s main layout is in N scale, 1:160, using a 9 mm track gauge. Members meet on Thursday evenings to work on projects and run trains, while the clubroom is open to visitors on the first Thursday of each month from 5 p.m. Visitors can also enjoy refreshments and exchange ideas in the club’s “Zum Bräms-Chlotz” gathering area. NBCB supports young enthusiasts aged 10 to 16 through a dedicated H0-scale layout, where they can learn to build and operate model railways and also run trains on the larger N-scale layout. The club shares photographs and videos of its layouts through Instagram and YouTube, and welcomes prospective members and visitors.
