The New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF) is dedicated to helping innovators in New Brunswick bring their ideas to life. We take this responsibility seriously and act as leaders in guiding entrepreneurs through the complexities of growth and commercialization. Our mission is to inspire and support New Brunswick innovators in their pursuit of global relevance.

Since 2003, we have been a launchpad for some of the region's most exciting and innovative companies. With over $100 million invested and an additional $457 million leveraged from other sources, we have helped create over 113 companies and fund 494 applied research projects. We have also recruited 75 professors to the province.

Our portfolio companies and researchers span various industries, including advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and environmental technologies, with a focus on building a cleaner and greener society. As an independent, non-profit corporation, all our investment returns are reinvested to support other start-ups and research initiatives. We are optimistic realists, grounded in reality and returns on investment, but with an unwavering belief in New Brunswick's potential.
