## Description

**Brand Description for NbN**

NbN is an innovative initiative spearheaded by a taskforce comprising five prominent international organizations: ECNP, ACNP, AsCNP, CINP, and IUPHAR. The mission of NbN is to reform the pharmacological nomenclature surrounding psychotropic medications, aligning it with current neuroscience research to improve clinical prescriptions. The taskforce acknowledges the existing nomenclature's inadequacies and seeks to provide a more effective framework for understanding psychotropic drug therapy.

The NbN app serves as a comprehensive guide for healthcare professionals, featuring detailed classifications of medications according to their pharmacology and modes of action. It encompasses ten pharmacological domains, such as dopamine and serotonin, and nine modes of action including enzyme inhibition and receptor modulation. By integrating practical clinical knowledge filtered through expert consensus, NbN enhances decision-making for clinicians treating patients with Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders. Additionally, the platform remains responsive to user feedback, ensuring it evolves with ongoing scientific advancements.
