## Description

The NC CPA Foundation, an integral partner of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA), has been dedicated to enhancing the future of the accounting profession since 1984. With a mission focused on fostering a strong influx of talented accountants into the field, the Foundation offers scholarships and resources that have benefitted over 2,000 students, distributing more than $3 million in financial aid. As the profession faces challenges like rising education costs and a diminishing talent pool, the Foundation is committed to investing $250,000 annually towards initiatives that nurture diversity and support aspiring CPAs.

In addition to scholarships, the Foundation engages in various outreach programs aimed at students at crucial stages of their educational journey. By working closely with NCACPA, they help cultivate interest in accounting and provide the essential resources needed for students to succeed in passing the CPA exam. Together, they aim to sustain a diverse future workforce that will lead and innovate within the accounting profession.
