The North Carolina Apple Festival, held annually over Labor Day Weekend in Hendersonville, is Western North Carolina’s Premier Family Festival. For over 70 years, this event has celebrated the rich culture and heritage of Henderson County's apple growers. From September 1-4, 2023, visitors can enjoy four days of excitement, including a renowned Street Fair on Hendersonville’s Main Street. Explore the fair and indulge in freshly picked apples, unique arts & crafts, delectable festival food, and free entertainment at the Historic Courthouse. With 15 local apple growers participating, you can purchase a variety of locally grown apples, apple pies, apple cakes, apple butter, and apple cider. Don't forget to join the grand finale of the festival, the King Apple Parade, on Labor Day. Discover why Henderson County is famous for its beautiful apples and experience the joy of community spirit at the North Carolina Apple Festival.
