# NCBE - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ncbe.pt` ## Description Náutico Clube Boa Esperança (NCBE) is a Lisbon-based nautical club that has developed sailing and boating activities since 1994, guided by its motto, “Sailing for Everyone.” It introduces people to navigation and sailing as recreational and sporting pursuits, combining practical learning with contact with nature on the Tagus River in central Lisbon. The club operates a sailing school offering dinghy sailing courses for children and young people, including beginner and improvement classes, as well as cruising sailing courses for adults. It also runs weekend instruction, summer intensive courses, school-holiday “Sailing Holidays” for ages 7–15, and introductory sailing experiences for groups and schools. Its nautical training prepares students for recreational navigator licences at Marinheiro, Patrão Local, Patrão de Costa, and Patrão de Alto-Mar levels; the club states that it has been a certified training provider since 2004.
