## Description

New Castle County, DE is embracing the opportunity to reinvigorate the community through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the county will receive approximately $108 million in funding to address the impacts of the virus. New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer emphasizes the significance of this opportunity to reimagine and revitalize local neighborhoods. The funds will be distributed in two tranches, allowing for investments in COVID-19 relief efforts, economic and community development, workforce enhancement, and early childhood learning.
