## Description

The National Center for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Genetics is a national institution in Jordan affiliated with the Higher Council for Science and Technology. Its affairs are overseen by a 13-member board representing public health and medical institutions, universities, diabetes-care organizations, the private sector and the center itself. Based in Amman, the center provides specialized medical care, education and research focused on diabetes, endocrine disorders and genetics.

Its clinics include services for adults and children with diabetes and endocrine conditions, as well as cardiology, eye care, kidney health, dermatology, diabetic foot care, neurology, urology, respiratory medicine, and women’s health. The center also offers consultation and patient-care services, and outlines patient rights and responsibilities to support respectful, safe and coordinated care. Through its affiliated institute, it provides educational and training programs and conducts research, while also sharing information through publications and public-facing resources.
