## Description

The North Carolina Dental Society (NCDS) is one of the oldest dental societies in the United States, established in 1856 and headquartered in Cary, North Carolina. Representing over 3,900 dentists across the state, NCDS is affiliated with the American Dental Association, ensuring that its members are part of a larger professional network. The society's mission is centered on supporting its members' success through a variety of resources and services, including membership benefits, educational opportunities, and professional support.

NCDS provides a range of products and services, including access to the Center for Professional Success, a career center featuring job postings, and comprehensive counseling resources. Additionally, the society is dedicated to community outreach initiatives like the Missions of Mercy and Give Kids A Smile® programs, which aim to improve oral health education and provide free dental care to underserved populations. By fostering a collaborative network and advocating for legislative priorities, NCDS ensures the growth and sustainability of the dental profession in North Carolina.
