## Description

Hot Springs Resort & Spa is a 100-acre retreat in Hot Springs, North Carolina, set beside Spring Creek and the French Broad River in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Its central offering is bathing in naturally heated, carbonated mineral water, piped to outdoor jetted hot tubs along the water’s edge. The resort says the tubs are drained and sanitized after each use. Visitors can book mineral baths and choose from a range of accommodations, including cabins, other rental properties, a deluxe cabin, and a three-bedroom rental house with a full-size outdoor jetted tub.

Across the road, the Hot Springs Campground provides four camping cabins, more than 50 tent sites, and full RV hookups. Tent options include primitive, group, and partial-hookup sites; seasonal hot showers and clean bathrooms are available in the comfort station. The resort grounds also host large events. The town is an intersection along the historic Appalachian Trail, making the area a convenient stop for hikers and travelers.
