NC Newsline is a nonpartisan nonprofit news organization committed to providing fearless reporting and hard-hitting commentary that spotlights injustice, holds public officials accountable, and fosters a better quality of life for all North Carolinians. Originally founded in 2004 as a small commentary nonprofit under the name NC Policy Watch, our newsroom has evolved into a full-service digital outlet that connects readers and listeners to significant news and opinions from across North Carolina and the nation.
