Nederlandse Cosmetica Vereniging (NCV) is de brancheorganisatie die de belangen van fabrikanten, importeurs en merkhouders van cosmetica in Nederland vertegenwoordigt en behartigt. Cosmetica omvat producten voor dagelijkse verzorging zoals tandpasta, shampoo, scheerschuim en parfum. De NCV werkt aan beleidsontwikkeling, lobby en overleg met relevante partijen om de collectieve belangen van de Nederlandse cosmetica-industrie te bevorderen. De NCV zet zich ook in voor duurzaam ondernemen binnen de industrie, met initiatieven gericht op verpakking, productie en formulering. Daarnaast waarborgt de NCV de veiligheid en effectiviteit van cosmetica door middel van wetgeving voor ingrediënten, etiketten en claims. Via hun website bieden ze ook verschillende informatieve tools zoals de COSMILE database met wetenschappelijke informatie over 30.000 cosmetica-ingrediënten, INCI-controle voor het ontdekken van productfuncties, en meer.
