About NDEO
Description
NDEO, the National Dance Education Organization, is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing dance education for people of all backgrounds. With over 4,200 members from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and more than 25 other countries, NDEO supports dance educators in every setting and genre. Since 1998, NDEO has been a leader in the field of dance education, partnering with leading dance, arts education, and education policy organizations to have a significant impact.
They have developed innovative professional development programs and disseminated vital research, influencing the way dance is taught in every sector. NDEO provides resources and support to thousands of dance educators, including early childhood dance educators, K-12 dance teachers, dance studio owners, college and university dance professors, and more. Additionally, their National Honor Society for Dance Arts program recognizes outstanding dance students for their artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievements.
