National Energy Action (NEA) is the national fuel poverty and energy efficiency charity dedicated to ending fuel poverty in the UK. With 6.6 million households in fuel poverty, NEA works tirelessly across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland to ensure that everyone can afford to live in a warm, safe, and healthy home. The current energy crisis has exacerbated the problem, with energy bills doubling in the last two years. Many individuals and families are now struggling to afford the cost of heating and falling into debt, leaving them with cold and damp homes. NEA's mission is to combat fuel poverty through four key approaches: providing advice and support, campaigning and advocating for policy changes, conducting research to raise awareness and find solutions, and offering accredited training to improve energy advice standards. NEA understands that tackling fuel poverty requires collaboration. They work in partnership with policymakers, energy suppliers, installers, local authorities, housing associations, and others to create lasting change.
