Nebraska Sports Council, based in Lincoln, NE, is a leading brand that offers various opportunities for amateur athletes of all ages and skill levels. Richard Hammer, Jerry McGinn, and O. W. Bill Smith, the Council has been governed by a dedicated 24-member statewide board of directors.

They organize a wide range of events, including the Cornhusker State Games, Omaha Corporate Games, Lincoln Corporate Games, Pumpkin Run, Nebraska AAU Grand Prix, Nebraska DiamondFest Softball Tournament, Nebraska NetFest Volleyball Tournament, Nebraska NetFest Pickleball Tournament, Heartland Havoc Golf for Gold Scramble, and Wellpower Movement. These events are made possible through the generous financial support of over 60 corporate sponsors and donations from more than 350 businesses and organizations. Additionally, the Council relies on the commitment of over 2,500 volunteers to make these events successful.
