## Description

Necessary Magic is an independent magical goods shop and creative community based in Astoria, Oregon. Its flagship store, at 333 10th Street, opened in October 2025, offering an expanded selection of ritual products, books, and jewelry. The brand also sells handcrafted items online, including products featured in embroidery, herbal magic, and runic magic collections. Its approach centers on making goods with intention and helping customers explore their interests in magic.

Beyond shopping, Necessary Magic offers classes and events, including hybrid and in-person workshops, as well as readings and healing services. The shop hosts events at its Astoria location and also connects with customers at the Astoria Sunday Market and, occasionally, Portland Saturday Market. Its website shares articles on topics such as magical herbs and creating sigils, alongside event updates and information about the business. Customers can also purchase gift cards for online or storefront use. Through its products, learning opportunities, and welcoming community activities, Necessary Magic invites people to discover and practice magic in ways that interest them.
